About A-OnePakKopi.blog spot.com - Part 1

Introducing A-OnePakKopi.blogspot.com

A real PAK KOPI (Kedai Kopi/Kopi Tiam or coffee shop) is a most common ‘come-and-go-place’ down town where citizens (irrespective of race, religion and culture) from various walks of life physically meet and interact in groups. It is an open venue where they freely talk, gossip, argue, tell stories, joke, laugh, read newspapers, share ideas and information about news, issues and matters of interests affecting them and the community at large. They do so usually ["cheeya"/"belanja" or treat each other] over cups of coffee, teh-tarek,... plates of roti canai ....bowls of noodles, nasi lemak , and etc... in the true spirit of "give-and-take" Malaysian-style. So it makes Pak Kopi indeed a natural public place to actuate the process of nation-building towards developing better social relationships and understandings, and enhancing greater racial and religious tolerance.

While some Pak Kopi do have dual "hub" of "non-halal" and "halal" in some mixed shopping complex and around residential areas, many Kopi Tiam nowadays are also equipped with big-screen TV and free WiFi or broad-band system as a business marketing tool designed to operate twenty-four-hours to attract particularly IT-savour customers and business executives to frequent the place. The real happenings in Pak Kopi out there are drawn to allegorize the purpose of setting up this blog spot so as to make it into an interactive borderless forum where visitors and users "converge" to share their responses, comments, observations, views, and experiences related to matters and current issues (of interests) posted in the blog.

For me, this blog also serves as a 'partial response' to past challenge and encouragement made to me personally to write a book on my varied life experiences, stories and jokes by the following persons namely: YB Datuk Talip Zulphilip (Uchak-Ipar TZ); Puan Sri Elizabeth P. Moggie; Rtd. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dato' Peter Nyomek Ngeap (Pok);Dato' Zenorai Rambli (Jang Ray. Former Pertonas senior executive); Rtd. Lt. Col. Robert Rizal Madang - PGB (Bujang Berani); Joseph Tawie (Unggal sa-politik); James Ritchie (Tok Janggut); Katut Achong & wife named: Maria Saie  (who are a.k.a Apai & ndai Terry),and David Chin (Taiko in NZ) to mention some.

NOTWITHSTANDING the potential differences in opinions and views expressed in the blog spot, the law is very clear on freedom of speech and expression, which include fairness in talking about reasonable matters involving national security, racial and religious sensitivities for the good and advancement of our "multi ... multi ... society" as well limitations against making personal attacks and defamatory remarks (however made) on individuals and/or organizations.

For anyone who may be ‘HURT’ (out there) by truths posted herein this blog, please know that: “IT IS EASIER TO SHOUT DOWN OTHERS WHO RAISE QUESTIONS ABOUT TRUTHS, BECAUSE ONE DOES NOT LIKE TO FIND OUT THAT HE HAS BELIEVED IN A LIE.” (Anon).  Be that as it may, it is an end-goal of this blog to be just a simple and moderate borderless “grapevine” among others already in the cyberspace for creating "better and greater Malaysia" now  being  rebranded “1Malaysia” by Najib's administration.

CHEERS!!
